From the sediments of past creative processes — the leftovers of ideas that were too mismatched, ambitious, or non-sensical to fit anywhere — Yes Person emerges. Inspired by the concept of “killing your darlings,” the artist duo Imogen Huzel and Inka Pehkonen breathe new life into their abandoned favorites. By saying yes, they open up a wild and expansive wasteland of possibilities.
From handstands and Washington trapeze to poetry and irony, the discarded concepts are given a second chance to flourish, expand….and spiral out of control.

Based on Kimberly is a new company founded by Imogen Huzel and Inka Pehkonen, formerly artistic co-directors of Fauna Circus and Sisus Sirkus. With punkish playfulness, love, clown mentality, and artistic precision, they explore topics such as feminism, freedom of speech, friendship, community, sexuality, and identity.
