Do-it-yourself circus, stand-up circus, slow circus, and telepathic hybrid circus. From chaotic folk music and the longing for water to drawing robots and an embracing whale skeleton. In the 7th edition of CirkusMania, tradition and experimentation came together in a panorama of newly created works reflecting the Swedish circus scene – right here, right now. Running through the festival was a thread of belief in human creative power and our capacity for change. 2026 year´s edition of the festival of circus as contemporary performing arts took place 6-15 February in 12 venues around Stockholm region.
