Biocafé Tellus

Biocafé Tellus is a cultural hub in Midsommarkransen since 30 years, and is one of the few small cinemas from earlier times that still remain in Stockholm.

Tellus neighbourhood cinema dates back to 1920 and has been run by a non-profit cultural association since 1986. In addition to film screenings and a café, it offers concerts, writing workshops, language cafés, and much more. Today the association consists of around 70 members who do everything from baking cakes to repairing projectors. The association is financially and politically independent.
