Kulturhuset Stadsteatern is Stockholm’s central spot for performing arts and culture in the middle of Sergels torg.
Kulturhuset Stadsteatern is one of Northern Europe’s largest cultural institutions. Architect Peter Celsing’s iconic glass building was inaugurated in 1974 with the vision of being a living room for culture. Housing stages and libraries, you can watch theatre, film, dance, debates and music, right in the heart of the capital. Since spring 2021, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern also hosts contemporary circus.
